INSTRUCTOR BIOS

Michael Bank is a third degree black belt who has made enhancing his students' agility, flexibility, stamina, reflexes, and strength, his life's passion. He found that such training has several beneficial side effects, including increased self-confidence, self-discipline, and mental focus. A graduate of USC, Michael has a degree in business, criminal justice, and sports coaching. He served for six years at McEntire Joint National Guard Station with the 169th Security Forces Squadron. He was recognized for his work as a martial arts instructor with the US Air Force. An Eagle Scout, Michael is a graduate of the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.

Nikki Yancey is the program director for Capital Karate. She began taking karate at the age of six and has been involved in martial arts for 13 years. Nikki is a beauty queen who has used her martial arts training to give herself a competitive edge in beauty pageants. Her smiling face is always a welcoming sight at the front door of Capital Karate.

 

Frank Rawl is a 4th degree black belt who has a passion for helping children to succeed in life. In his many years of teaching he has helped numerous children to achieve goals they never thought possible thanks to the mental discipline of martial arts.

 

Chad Burgess started his martial arts training at the University of South Carolina. He emphasizes the importance of training for street safe techniques along with sharing his knowledge from training with some of the top mixed martial artists in the world.
